Android 5.0.2 Lollipop arrives for the new Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZR

Sony has started the roll out the update for the latest version of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop for its two devices – Xperia Z and Xperia ZR. According to the GSM Arena, the update of OS is now available to all the users from different countries and comes with enhanced user interface and some improvements.

The date of release of update is not specific to any region and the users who belong to other countries can get the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update soon. Many improvements have been made in the new update such as addition of guest mode in the device, Google material designing that comes with well-suited apps on the handsets.

This new update also customized the settings and has intelligent screen locking system for all the notifications received on the device. Moreover, the users can also ensure the accessibility of the device in the Settings menu. However, prior installation of the update, the users should ensure that they have space of at least 1.2 GB available in the device.

Users should thus take proper back up of their data so that nothing goes wrong after installation of update . Sony also revealed that this update will also be available for devices for its complete Xperia Line Up. It was reported by the Phone Arena that the update would also be available on Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Z Ultra handsets.
