Solar powered info-point

We all know that feel, when you go to a city and you need certain information. There are a lot of ways to find them, but all of them depend on your smart phone. The new concept of info-point can change this. It is solar-powered, so it is green. The design is unique. It looks like a sail. This is done in order to maximize the efficiency of the info-point. Solar cells are on the back of the device. The clever solution is that info-point can follow the sun. This means, it can rotate its position so the side with the solar cells is always faced towards the sun.

Users will have a touch screen where all desired information will be shown. It is easy to use and very efficient. A much better solution that current info-points that don’t have touch screens.
This concept doesn’t require power grid or anything else. It can be placed in any part of the city. Also, the installation is much cheaper, so we can expect to see this device in the near future. Info-points and similar devices are located outside, and they stay there every day. This means that they are exposed to the sunlight every day the entire day. Because solar cells are affordable and there are a lot of different types, we can use devices and solutions that run on solar energy. This is the cleanest energy in the world. Just one info-point doesn’t require a lot of energy, but thousands of them do. With this clever device, we can reduce the amount of the energy cities use.
